Our First Newsletter

March Newsletter

Welcome to the first monthly newsletter from Westwood Tractor Spares. We aim to offer you advice and special offers every month to assist you in maintaining your mower.

The winter is almost officially over for another year and spring is just around the corner. Now is the time to get your tractor in peak condition ready for the first cut of the season. We
only sell genuine Westwood, Snapper and Briggs & Stratton spare parts to ensure your tractor is in peak condition for the season ahead.

Help and Advice

The first thing to do is to give your tractor a good clean with a stiff brush and inspect the deck for rust and corrosion. It is important to then put the battery on charge and put some
fresh petrol in the tank. The oil level must be checked, and with a fully-charged battery, try to start the engine.

If it starts then this is great, but you still need a maintenance plan as there are certain parts that must be changed annually. Please follow this link for an example maintenance plan.

The following items must be changed annually:

• Air filter and pre-filter

• Oil filter

• In line fuel filter (if fitted)

• Spark plug(s)

• Engine oil

All these items are available for a comprehensive range of tractors online now. View More >>

  1. Looks like some nice machines you got. It's tough to find tractor manuals now. Do you know of any good places to find them?
